I'm quite envious of your ability with Sketch Up. I love the bottom part of your plumbing room. The way the pipes interlace is really quite interesting and definitely communicates your word. Perhaps maintaining some of that intricacy and movement in the upper area of the walls would create a more dynamic piece.
Also with the Swim piece, I think it's a good representation of the word but could possibly use something more than just blue glass to convey the idea of being underwater...perhaps fracturing the glass so that you get 'water like' pattern on the basement floor?
